3/18/08 -- The Douglas Historical Society is sad to learn of the passing of Marieta Howard. Marieta was a past president of the Society and also served as our curator for many years. Her work in documenting the history of the E.N. Jenckes Store can be seen in THE MUSEUM web page section of this site. Marieta passed away on March 14 at age 92.

5/25/08 -- Museum re-opens. 2008 Hours of operation are:
Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
Sundays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
